THE BIOLOGIC FARM

The biologic farm Villa Catalfamo is only 6 kilometres from Cefalù and 55 kilometres from Palermo.
The property is beautifully situated on someone of the most beautiful coasts of northern Sicily, not far away from the Aeolian Islands and is surrounded by many hectars of citrus plantations and olive groves.
A wonderful sandy beach appears for 1 km along the property and the seaside here is really rare for its peace, quiet and privacy.
Since 1995 the organic farm Villa Catalfamo has the certification ECOSYSTEM for the biological agriculture and from about a year all the cultivations are cultivated with the biodynamic method.
The biodynamic method for agriculture includes the idea to consider the ground and the life as a only system.
The biological agriculture of the farm is in harmony with the natural environment and wants to communicate to people to take part to the cultural value of the place.
We have chosen the biologic farming in the respect of the health of the people and of the nature, without any use of pesticides or chemicals.
Our philosophy is to live the nature in a more simple way.
Ours biologic products are: mandarin oranges, lemon trees, oranges, extra virgin olive oil, honey, carobs, aloe arborescens whose plant has some medical immunologic properties.
